This antique ironstone covered tureen has an oval shape on a pedestal base. The handles are done in the cable pattern with nice detail. Made by John Maddox and Sons c. 1906. It is in very good condition with 3 discolored spots on the interior base where the tripod was placed for stacking pieces to dry. This must have damaged the glaze which allowed the spots to discolor with use. Measures 11 inches long, 7 inches wide, and 5 1/2 inches tall to the top of the handle. Click on photo for more detail.
