Early black and white transferware cup bowl with the scene of a shepard sitting on a hill side playing a flute to the cattle and sheep he is tending. The edge of the bowl is also done in black. The bowl dates from 1820-1830. There are three small hairline cracks in the rim. Measures 5 1/2 inches across, 1 inch high. Click on photo for more detail.
