This black and white transferware cup bowl has a central design of a shepard sitting on a hill side reading a book while he tends the sheep and cattle. There are two silver luster bands around the rim. The design has some worn spots and there is some wear of the silver luster bands. A charming piece that dates from 1830-1850.
