A lovely antique blue transferware center piece bowl with a large floral design on the outside and a smaller version on the inside. The bottom of the bowl has a scene of horses and cattle grazing. The pattern is called "Cattle Scenery", made by William Adams, England, c.1891. The ironstone body has some wear to the inside bottom and either a tight hairline or glaze crack on the rim. The bowl measures 8 3/4 inches across and 4 1/4 inches high. Click on photo for more detail.
