This vintage Blue Gill ice fishing lure or "decoy" is handmade and decorated. The body is of wood with a lead weight inset into the underside of the body so it would sink. The fins are made of metal. The lure measures about 7 1/2 inches long and about 2 1/2 inches high. A wonderful piece of folk art. Click on photo for more detail.
