A lovely antique brown transferware breakfast set for two, with extra pieces! The ironstone bodies are decorated with a village scene. There are nine pieces including; 2- 7 1/2 inch plates, 3- cups measure 3 1/2 inches across and 2 1/4 inches high. and 4- cup bowls measure 5 3/4 inches across. The pieces are in very good to excellent condition. Two pieces have the name of a former owner written on the bottom, but is is wearing off. There is an impressed mark on the bottom that we cannot make out. Probably English c. 1880. Sold as a set. Click on photo for more detail.
