  
A lovely brown transferware tureen decorated in the Aesthetic Style with a wild flower design. The pattern is called "Aberdeen". Made by George Jones and Sons, Trent Potteries, Stoke on Trent, England. The registration mark dates this piece to 1887. The round tureen has a fluted design on top and around the opening on the base. It is in excellent condition. Measures 9 inches wide by 5 inches high. Click on photo for more detail.
