  
This pair of English red transferware plates from the 1800's is marked "Corinthia" and E. Challinor. The scene is of couples in a castle garden. The plates are 9 3/4 inches wide. One plate has slight discoloring of the white background. The other plate has a small pit mark and spot missing glaze which is from the time of manufacturing, there is also a tight hairline crack on the rim visible from the back, about 1 1/2 inches long.
