  
This pair of English red transferware plates from the 1800's is marked "Corinthia" and E. Challinor. The scene is of couples in a castle garden. The plates are 9 3/4 inches wide. The plates have a dark red border. One plate has two small unglazed spots from the time of manufacture, and there is a tiny pit mark and a small brown mark. No visible chips or cracks.
