This beautiful pair of vintage sterling silver candle sticks with etched glass chimneys can be used three ways. Place the candle in the base section alone, or the base and insert with the open work section, or all three parts together. The candle sticks were made by La Pierre, which was founded in 1885 in N.Y.C. and was purchased by International Silver in 1929. The candle sticks are marked "Weighted" and "Sterling" and measure 3 1/2 inches wide and 3 inches high to the top of the base, 4 1/2 inches with the insert and 10 1/2 inches with the etched glass chimney. Perfect size and height for the dining table and can be displayed on your buffet or sideboard when not in use. Mix them with other sterling candle sticks for a glittering mantel display.
