This beautiful assembled vintage etched glass cordial set has a decanter with a thick heavy base. The body flares out and forms a collar and tapers into the neck. It is topped with a stopper that echoes the shape of the base. The body is etched with wheat, daisies and cornflowers. The set of six hand blown glasses have a bell shape that echoes the flair of the body of the decanter, and are etched with a similar but not exact wheat and flower design.(see inset picture). The decanter measures 13 inches tall and 4 1/2 inches wide at the base. The glasses are 3 inches tall, 2 1/2 inches wide at the base and 3 inches wide at the top. The pieces date from c1940. Place them on a silver tray and display them on your sideboard or buffet. The sparkiling crystal and delicate design will add a sense of "richness" to your room. Click on photo for more detail.
