

Mottahedeh, a company known for reproducting fine porcelain, produces "Waterdance", an entire service decorated with various types of fish. This hand painted oval dish comes in both a left and right facing version.(See inset for right facing. Click on photo for more detail.) The fish that inspired the design for the service is one of eighty-two Chinese watercolor drawings done between 1790 and 1850, which are part of the Winterthur Library. The dish, which is 8 inches long, would look great alone, or as a pair, displayed on a small stand. Perfect for an English style decor.
